I saw the e-mail this morning and it reminded me that Dr. Greger has a YouTube video in which he claims (with evidence) that 1 teaspoon of ginger powder (in hot water) has been shown to have an effect on mitigating fatty liver disease.
Any thoughts?

Ginger is a great thing and you can’t go wrong consuming more of it.
But the main reason all diseases of the chronic nature are successfully overcome through the advice here is the overall eating pattern of the whole plants only.
Some specific foods may have some minor advantage but there really are no superfoods.

I have a WFPB NO friend who heard from a MD that frozen fruit can lead to a fatty liver. Any thoughts?
