Congratulations to all our May participants, both newcomers and veterans! It isn't an easy thing to make these significant changes in our behavior, and having a dedicated group of like-minded comrades to offer support in the face of obstacles and share in victories, big and small, seems like a rare gift. Cheers to you! :D

The June thread will be posted on June 1, and I hope to see you there.

To close out this month, I just want to quote Jeff's sentiments from above thread,

Missed the post for the first time since I joined 10 months ago with no valid excuse. I’ll definitely be posting in time for June and looking forward to structure, support, and accountability.
The week was less than stellar from a compliance point of view but yesterday I celebrated my birthday and my family honored my request for no cake. ( I started a month ago!). I understand their POV and thrilled that they honored mine. I never did that before. Always had a cake. Always ate way too much of it. For the first time ever, I started a new tradition.
Had a wonderful celebration and blew out my candle on the most magnificent fresh fruit salad. Feeling good before, during, and after eating something really makes a world of difference. That’s what will be guiding my choices in June.
Happy Memorial Day everyone.
