I can't figure out how to use my new touch screen laptop so I cant post any quotes yet.

muscle is 77% water, :shock:

fat is only .07% water

rapid weight loss is water loss is muscle loss.

muscle loss slows down metabolism.

weight training only twice per week helps solve the problem.

He is 67 and only 12% fat.

Dr Westcott is one of my favorite researchers in resistance training. He has long advocated the high intensity training style of Arthur Jones and Dr. Ellington Darden. I have several of his books and they are exceptional, especially the ones for those over 50. I have his building strength and stamina book in its 2nd addition (from 2003)as well so I'm happy to see he just came out with the third edition. I'll probably get it just to see how much the science has changed in the last 13 years.
