a lot of times people are looking for "the best way"
the notion being to maximize strength performance, muscle growth,
whatever.
most people will never maximize anything.
just as the health benefits of running/walking can be had
with the minimal effort of 150 minutes a week
the health benefits of weight training
can be had with just regularly lifting more than you used to.
(cdc says twice a week is good)
not need to find the best routine, best rep program,
best rep scheme blah etc.
just lift some weights
lift a little heavier when that gets a little easier
keep going
enjoy
and leave the performance maximizers
and their constant search for this and that edge
alone.
i mean are we really trying to be as muscular/strong as we possibly can?
we are on a low protein, staarch-based diet
and we dont take supplements
thats not compatible with maximum muscle/strength gains.
significant muscle/strength gains = weight gains
