Nut Allergies

Postby Suzdavis » Tue Aug 25, 2020 8:03 am

I would like to switch to a WFPBD; however, my husband is allergic to all nuts. Some recipes I can just add the nuts to my portion. What I need help with is finding alternatives for nuts that so many sauces require. I do appreciate your assistance with this request.

I’m allergic to peanuts and avoid nuts.

I have no problem eating this way.

Sometimes using cooked bland white beans or sweet potatoes Instead of nuts work well OTOH there’s lots of sauce recipes without nuts.

I have nut allergies and have no problem eating this way. If I can skip the nuts in a recipe, I do that. If the recipe is dependent upon nuts, then I just don't make that.

I rarely eat nuts, just because of the fat content. You’ll do just fine.
