Jeff,
Ran across this in the grocery store, can you comment please? I rarely use peanut butter anymore because of the high fat, but every once is awhile I'd like to use in baking.
PB 2

PB2
INGREDIENTS:
Roasted peanuts, sugar, salt.
NUTRITION FACTS
Serving size: 2 Tablespoons (12 grams)
Servings per container: 15
Calories: 45
Calories from fat: 13
Total fat 1.5g
Saturated fat 0g
Sodium 94 mg
Total carbohydrate 5g
Dietary fiber 2g
Sugars 1g
Protein 5g
I'm looking at label differences this is what I see:
Peanut Butter -
1T
94 cal
73 fat (78% fat)
73 sodium
1.5 sugar
PB2
1 1/2T
45 cal
13 fat ( 29% fat)
94 sodium
1 sugar so 29%fat
So from reading labels as a consumer it looks good, how is a consumer to make an informed decision?
