Hi Jeff,
Can the absorption of fat soluble vitamins be impaired by having no gallbladder?
Now, as well as before I had my gallbladder removed 6 months ago, my vit. D levels were low. I was hardly eating for the few months before the surgery and there were a lot of gallstones, I'm sure impairing the bile flow.
Thanks,
Gwen

Hi Gwen
Well it is theoretically possible, usually there is no special dietary requirements after gallbladder removal including regarding fat soluble nutrients.
Look towards the sun for your best source of vit d.
