Differences in brands of oatmeal

Hi Jeff,
Is there is simple reason for the differences in the following? Thanks. JoAnn

Bob’s Red Mill Organic Oats (1/2 cup dry):
3 grams fat
.5 saturated fat
16 mg calcium
175 mg potassium
0 sodium

Whole Foods Organic Oats (1/2 cup dry)
2.5 grams fat
0 saturated fat
0 calcium
140 potassium
0 sodium

Quaker Oats (1/2 cup dry)
3 grams fat
.5 grams saturated fat
20 mg calcium
150 mg potassium
0 sodium

USDA per Google 1/2 cup dry oatmeal (no brand listed):
3.2 grams fat
.5 gram saturated fat
200 mg calcium
122.5 mg sodium

USDA 1 cup COOKED oatmeal:
3.2 grams fat
.5 grams saturated fat
187 mg calcium (less than a 1/2 cup dry)
115 mg sodium (less than a 1/2 cup dry)

There are different ways companies can arrive at these numbers.

There are several ways for nutrients, which have an “acceptable” error rate of 2-5%.
