I've been putting both bananas and berries in my cereal/oatmeal, but have recently stumbled across articles saying that oxidase in bananas can degrade polyphenols by up to ~80% (ref:

I realize that food-combining misinformation runs rampant on the Internet, but I'm wondering if there is real benefit in consuming bananas and things with polyphenols like blueberries at different times. Any thoughts Jeff?
