Hi-
I have an 11 year old son who has ADHD and Growth Hormone Deficiency. He is currently on Concerta and Growth Hormone Therapy. He does well on both medications.
My question is, he is very thin and has trouble gaining and keeping weight. I am interested in changing his diet to eliminate dairy and meat, but I am concerned about him loosing weight. I have started the McDougall Diet and have easily lost weight, but he doesn't have any he can afford to loose. Any suggestions? He's not a big eater either.
Thank you!

I have ADD and have taken concerta before. I found, and so did others I knew, that concerta lowered our appetites. So it could be as simple as reminding your son to have a snack regardless of if he is hungry. We actually programmed a timer in our phones sometimes to help us.
Best of luck.
