help needed caloric intake for kids

Postby frostygirl » Tue Jul 29, 2014 10:20 pm

Can someone point me in in the right direction please. I am looking for info on making sure my kids get enough calories. I read my son will need 18-2600 calories and my daughter 16-2200. Where do they get these calories? Both are very trim. My son is one of those people who can eat anything and not gain an ounce. My daughter is like me and she can easily gain weight just by looking at food. Do I give them more nutbutters, grains, graze during the day? TIA!

Dr. McDougall talks about feeding kids here: https://www.drmcdougall.com/misc/2012nl ... ildren.htm

Good luck!
