Constipated baby! Help!

One of my 7 month olds is very constipated and squeals when he needs to go! I am following mcdougalls plan myself and he is breastfed and has just recently started solids. He eats fruits like pear banana peach prunes apple mango and vegies like pumpkin sweet potato avocado brocoli peas with spinach corn and baby porridge

Help?!?

My "babies" are in their 30's now, so I went online to try and find you some answers.

One of my children had this problem when he began eating some solids at around 10 months old. My doctor advised gently rubbing his tummy in a circular motion, and nursing him more and feeding solids less.
