We have been eating a lot of cabbage lately, but I avoid cole slaw because can't find a McDougall-legal substitute for Marzetti's cole slaw dressing. Does anyone have a creamy cole slaw dressing recipe? I have the vague idea that blended tofu would make a start on this.
I know there are other forms of cole slaw, but restoring this special family favorite to the menu would be a real victory.

You can use fat-free Nayonnaise (vegan mayo) or make your own tofu mayo with silken tofu. Here are some links to recipes that might help:
Creamy Herbed Coleslaw with Grape Tomatoes (my favorite)
Coleslaw with Poppyseed Dressing (my other favorite, and this one you make your own dressing using a recipe from Bryanna Clark Grogan)
Check
here for some mayo recipes that use tofu, including a couple from members of this board
I hope this helps. I know how important those family favorite recipes are!

Thank you, Susan! The photos even look right for texture!
I'm going to try them both soon.
