Is it possible to make an oil free granola?
The recipes I have found so far all have a mix of oil and sticky stuff like honey/maple syrup so missing out the oil and just baking in the oven with the sweet sticky ingredients would end up too dry (I think).
Perhaps there is a sub for the oil or maybe just dry roast or dry fry the other ingredients and even skip the sweet component altogether.
I only want it for baking as it's an optional ingredient in Heather's Banana Cake.
