It’s been two very full days. I couldn’t even find time to post last night. Today was spent visiting family. I made it through the day on plan and without feeling guilty or eating to please someone else, and exercised before leaving my house. It felt good to accomplish that!

Wow, that's a huge win. Good for you!

Quite a change from last Sunday! I knew you could do it! :-P

I know it's hard... putting together a plan and seeing it through (especially getting in some exercise beforehand), but knowing you can do it is half the battle. Well done!

Thanks, Silver! I surprised myself. :)
This journey is one of constant small adjustments. Nothing is ever static, no matter how long you've been eating this way. If something isn't working, you tweak it and make small changes until it works better.

I appreciate your kind words, Sirdle! Until you mentioned last Sunday that contrast didn’t occur to me. Next time should be easier! :)

Today wasn’t a bad day. It went as planned, but again a little too much volume. I need to increase the percent of vegetables, and maybe add soup before lunch and dinner.

I added more non-starchy vegetables today and limited high-fat foods more. It worked nicely. I found some no oil, no fat hummus. The brand is Cedar’s. It’s very good!

Today mostly went well. I overate at dinner trying not to have leftovers. (I know. Roll eyes here.) Everything else was right on plan. I will adjust quantities to avoid this situation again.

My food was completely compliant today, with no overeating. I did two half-hour exercise sessions, one aerobic, and one gentle stretching and balance. I feel like I’m hitting my stride, finally. :)

Today was another good day with food mostly compliant and 45 minutes of exercise. The calorie density of the food was higher than I need right now. Some otherwise compliant bread had a small amount of oil in it.

Hi Starflower!!! :-D

Just wanted to pop in and cheer you on!!!

You are doing so great!!!

I love how using the Checklist helps to frame behaviors that need our attention / helps us to adhere... Very cool how you have incorporated this!!!

Curious --- what is you exercise of choice??

Anyway, wishing you a fantastic weekend!!!

Best,
Stephanie

Hi Stephanie!

Thank you! It helps a lot to have this supportive community. :) The Checklist is a great tool. Having to say yes or no helps. Gray areas are dangerous for me.

I usually do walking or stepping, or sometimes an aerobics video for at least half an hour. Then I repeat a sequence of movements, that stretch and work range of motion pretty much head to toe, several times.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend and another successful week!

Today was much the same as yesterday. I ate some more of the bread. I made homemade masa bread for tomorrow. I did well over an hour of exercise, mostly aerobics. My weight was down a little more.
