Good day !
This diet feels more and more natural. I know that I need this journal more that ever because every time that I felt like this I've stopped the journal and failed  I need this accuntability.
When I first discovered Dr McDougall my BMI was on the edge of obesity. Yesterday I checked my BMI for the first time in a few years. It felt so good to see that I'm now in the middle of the normal range.
Also I'm starting to see changes in my figure.

Today I had :
B : pancakes with oats, banana, cinnamon and water blend together with on top some apple and blueberries
Image
L : salad with a tone of hummus (not pictured)
Image
D : salad, polenta and hummus (more than in the picture)

It was a good day. The breakfast was so good and I stayed satisfied for a long time (way more than with oatmeal).
I love salads and I was a bit sick of it at diner. But it's easy and quick to make so I had one (I was in a rush for a zoom gathering). It was very good thought.
I see my figure sliming and sliming everyday. Every time I lose weight, it feels strange to see the changes on my body like I don't recognize myself. I want my focus to be healthy not to be slim.
I don't know if anybody read this but I'm French and sometimes it's hard to really say what I want in english so maybe I'll write in french some parts in the future. Also I apologize for all of my wrong sentences... please excuse my French

and apple sauce with oats for desert.

Again good day. I'm craving sushis and onigiri so bad but the local store doesn't have sushi rice and I can't go to the asian supermarket in town (because of the locked down). I'll go on Monday !
I don't really talk about it, but I do yoga almost every day since March and it feels so good. When I don't practice yoga, I go for a long walk instead.

Beautiful spring day today !

B : rice, corn, cucumber and spinach
L : Bobun
Image
S : apple sauce
D : a feast, everything was on plan (different salads, falafel, ratatouille)

Good day ! Happy to see that I had something out of the program at lunch and didn't fall again at diner (I wanted some bread for a few minutes but it went away quit quickly). I just feel so good eating this kind of noodles that I don't mind having them occasionally.

Bonjour Alishana!

Your noodle dish looks interesting, but when I asked Google for "bobun", all the recipes that came up contained animal products. Your recipe or some guidelines please?

Merci.

Also, there is nothing wrong with your English.

Bonjour Plumerias,
Thank you so much for your question. To make some Bobun :
1 I just take some rice pasta and cook them. When it's ready, I put them under cold water to stop the cooking process and have them really cold for the salad.
2 I chopped up some veggies. I like to use cucumber, carrots, red pepper and lettuce but you can choose whatever you want.
3 For the sauce, I like to mix soy sauce (or tamari or coconut aminos) with rice vinegar and/or mirin and some garlic (powder or fresh).
4 Mix everything together. To have the perfect asian flavour, I like to garnish the salad with fresh mint and green onion. If you don't mind with marinated tofu and peanuts it's also very good.
Please tell me if you try it ! I really love this dish, it's so simple and easy to make, very satisfying and fresh.

05/07

B : oatmeal with blueberries and strawberries applesauce
L : leftovers
S : 1/2 mango
D : pizza and coke

I was feeling very bad with a strong headache most of the day. I just wantded to eat but not to cook. I ended up sleeping 13h and eating pizza and coke ! But I feel better today. Also, I'm so happy to see that whole grain pasta are ok in MWLP because I love them. I also love rice pasta and always feel so good while eating them.

Bonjour Alishana.

We will need a trip to an Asian grocery store to make this, and as we are still under lockdown, it may be some time before we can do so. But I will keep this in mind for summer meals.

Merci.

B : potaotes, fruits and tomato
L : same

D : Bobun

S : applesauce

Yesterday I was still feeling under the weather and ate very simple foods for breakfast and lunch. Talking about bobun made me crave it so much so that was diner.
I'm happy to see that even if I had a non compliant day I'm back at it. I felt a bit stressed about having no nuts/avocado at all and if it can be the reason for my headaches. I need to remember that it's just stress and not the truth. Also, when I'll lost all the weight, I'll eat a little bit of it again.

I have a real love for asian food ! I am really happy to have found whole grain pasta at the asian supermarket (not easy where I live). Over all I'm happy with my food choices. Some sauces in the fridge were tempting me very hard so I've put them in the trash
I need to do better with moving. I love to walk but the lockedown is very strict. I need to find something else to do when I can't go out.
