Bunsofsteel,
thank you for the encouragement! i have tried some tiring arm exercises with youtube. when my girls didn't practice the violin the violin teacher said i could have them listen to the violin piece on CD. i will watch an exercise video when i don't get around to exercise, my exercise routine is time consuming. i must not be doing it optimally, but so far no injury this time. in the past, i'd be all gung ho then find my self injured by the third day and discouraged.

********

i reached my exercise goal yesterday. i've added kettlebell swing to my am pm. Doing kettlebell swings is a good way for me to check how my back is doing. i can eel it from my neck to my tail bone. some days i can't do it. on a strong day i can swing 30 pounds.

Today's goal tuesday 9/20/22

am and pm routine

post meal routine

30 minutes or more
hulu hoop
jump rope
exercise with youtube.

Stephanie,
For almost a decade, i relied on only diet to lose weight. i stretched a lot to relieve tight muscles but it would just tighten up again. i read somewhere that the muscles tighten because the muscles are weak. After starting this journal, i have noticed that my body feels so much better and my blood sugar is optimal. Now i believe exercise is just as essential as diet. my husband told me some people can never exercise and be okay. all i know, is that i can't just eat anything and not move.

*******

I am glad my 3 days of fun is over. it's very hard for me to not overeat when i am away from home. i didn't reach my exercise goal sunday 9/25. i walked a lot when i was visiting daughter. when i got home I cycled a bit and went to bed.

Monday 9/26 exercise goal:

cycle 15 min am pm
teeter 4 min am pm
TG legs 50 rep am pm
KB swings 20/30 pounds 25/15 rep am pm
rebounder 2 min

post meal
weighted vest
15 min walk
25 squats

pm novice strength routine
and lower body

hi anna and stephanie!

*******
i did my ampm routine, post meal routine, and later 20 minutes of resistance training. i figured out how to do lunges, hold one dumbbell not two. sometimes, my legs feel weak so i know i need to build muscles in my lower body so that i can always have energy for brisk walks, hikes, and maybe be able to jog around the block non stop.

Exercise goal for Wed 9/28/22

am pm routine:
chin-up bar, 3 try
cycle hard 2 min/1 min rest/ 2 min cycle
teeter 4 min
total gym legs
triceps, dips
KB swings
rebounder 2 min

post meal routine:
weighted vest
25 squats
10 minute, brisk walk

15 minute of full body exercise

Today was a great step day of 20,330, 8.61 miles! Daughter took us hiking and i was glad that i have been doing my exercise routine for weeks. i'm beginning to see arm definition in my flabbier left arm, i'm right handed.

Exercise for monday 10/10/22

i'm going to keep doing what i've been doing and add 15 minutes of something different. Most likely, an arm exercise video that just the right level for me. the exercise videos that daughter recommended was a little too hard. Madfit is her favorite exercise youtube channel.
