sebaceous hyperplasia

Postby tonimarie » Wed May 24, 2023 10:14 am

I just turned 50 and a couple years ago I noticed a couple bumps on my face. I could not pop them and they just stayed there. fast forward to today and I have many. I found out it is sebaceous hyperplasia. I can't stand them! I have read it can happen to people around age 50 ...men are at higher risk than women, but I'm a woman. I also read it can be hereditary. nobody else in my family has this, not my parents, not my siblings. I was curious if anyone else has had this and did it get better or heal from doing 100% McDougall diet? I have improved my way of eating a lot and have lost 25 pounds in last 2 months, but I'm still not doing McDougall 100%.
