Low A1C

Postby CJ7 » Wed Nov 03, 2021 4:53 pm

Hi all
I’m new and have been vegan for over a year and now want to try the starch method. My A1C the past two years has been much lower than the number for bottom of the low range. Anyone ever heard of that? Not sure if it could mean anything or just real healthy. Thanks

You do not mention what the A1C numbers have been.
But typically a lower number is not an issue. But you may want to get a few things checked out as mentioned in this article:

I am assuming you are not on any diabetes related medications or herbs. If you are, try reducing or stopping them.

Thank you for this helpful article. I’ll show it to my doctor. She was stumped by why my number was so low. I don’t remember the exact number just that it was much lower than the low range given as within normal limits. Thank you again!
