I think this may be a slow week for me...I have 5 very expensive avocados in my fridge...I really can't make myself waste them....big sigh....I am hoping to feed my hubby some guacamole and then maybe just put some slices on a salad or a potato for me.

yeah they can be dangerous for me too. I splurge once in a while on one. Love those things. Sure aren't kind to weight loss though.

Can you freeze them? I see them in frozen packages in the store sometimes, so maybe somewhere on line it describes how to do it. Avocadoes are one of our favorites, too.

OK, I checked..you can freeze them! If you mash em first and mix a little lemon juice with them, you can freeze them!

I did it! I mashed em all and mixed them with lemon juice and froze 3 zip lock bags full of avocado. I looked at them this morning and they look fine!
