Flaxseed Question

Postby Gwen » Thu May 08, 2008 12:23 pm

Hey Jeff,
How many 1000mg capsules would be equal to 1 TBSP of ground flaxseed?
Thanks,
Gwen

I do not think there is an equivalent as I do not recommend flaxseed oil. I recommend, if someone wanted, to take 1-2 TB of ground flaxseed a day

Flaxseed question

Postby Mirrim » Thu May 08, 2008 9:46 pm

Is there any reason not to use roasted flaxseed? I got some at the store and because it's roasted, it's brittle and very easy to chew. Does it destroy the omega 3s when it's roasted? Or is that an ok way to eat it?
